2 people, 1 dog killed in early morning house fire north of Denver

Two people and a dog died early Sunday morning as flames consumed a house in Adams County, according to first responders. Adams County Fire Rescue crews responded to the fire in the 800 block of Bronco Road, north of Denver and near the Denver-Boulder Turnpike, just before 1:50 a.m. Sunday, according to the department. The back of the home was fully engulfed by the time firefighters arrived, and flames spread throughout the home, fire officials said. The two people who died will be identified by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
