3 people taken to hospital after fire at Denver Women’s Correctional Facility

Three people were taken to the hospital after a small fire at the state-run Denver Women’s Correctional Facility on Saturday morning, according to the Denver Fire Department. Three inmates were taken to the hospital for observation, and additional information about their conditions was not immediately available. Denver Fire officials could not say where in the facility the fire broke out, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
